Support Us

As Japan's leading orchestra, the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra strives to deliver high-quality performances to as many people as possible and to contribute to the development of culture.
In today's society, cultural maturity is essential for the further development of society, and the importance of culture in the lives of the people has come to be spoken of more strongly than ever.

An orchestra is a mysterious thing; not only is the purity of its music evident, but the sensitivity and imagination of the listeners also influences the sound, which is then fed back to the performers, resulting in an even richer tone. Through years of interaction between the orchestra and the audience, the orchestra has been able to develop its own unique style of music and deliver wonderful performances to everyone.
The Japan Philharmonic Orchestra strives every day to further refine this treasure that it has cultivated together with its audiences over the years, and to deliver it to as many people as possible.

Unfortunately, however, Japanese arts organizations, including orchestras, have a weaker financial foundation than those in Europe and the United States.
Furthermore, despite some signs of improvement, the unprecedented, prolonged recession continues to have a profound impact on many fields. For this reason, the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, which has been promoting a wide range of artistic activities, primarily through sponsored performances, needs the understanding and support of society at large to further enhance its activities.

In today's environment, we at the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra feel a sense of mission to fulfill our social responsibility through more fulfilling performance activities, and we sincerely hope to strengthen our financial base with the support of a wide range of people.
We would like to ask for the support of the many corporate entities that understand the Japan Philharmonic's performance activities and social contribution activities.
