Announcement of new band director (change)
Following the retirement of trumpeter Hoshino Kiwamu, clarinetist Ito Hirotaka will take over as conductor from August 1, 2025.
Hirotaka Ito
He joined the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra in 1994 and served as principal player for 30 years.
He will become the band director on August 1, 2025.
