[Important] Cancellation of Conductor Laureate and Artistic Advisor Alexander Lazarev's Japan tour in September 2026 and postponement of single-show ticket sales

Regarding our Conductor Laureate and Artistic Advisor Alexander Lazarev, who was scheduled to appear at our Tokyo, Yokohama and Suginami Regular Concerts in September 2026, we have unfortunately come to the conclusion that due to health concerns within his family, it will be difficult for him to visit Japan in September at this time.
Following Neeme Järvi's departure from the 782nd Tokyo Regular Concert, two other conductors who are key pillars of our 70th anniversary concerts will be stepping down. We offer our deepest apologies to all those who were looking forward to the concerts, for the inconvenience and concern this may cause.

We are currently working hard to develop a new program, so please wait a little longer for the announcement. We will also let you know the release date once the details are finalized.
The performers and program for the July Tokyo Regular Concert and the September Tokyo and Yokohama Regular Concerts are currently under adjustment, but subscription tickets will continue to be sold. For information about the Suginami Regular Concert, please visit the Suginami Public Hall website.
