"Britain is a country without music"? No, British music is full of charm!
Kazuki Yamada, Principal Conductor and Artistic Advisor of the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra (CBSO), a prestigious British orchestra, is also actively performing British music in Japan. He will talk about what to listen for, focusing on Elgar, which evoked great emotion during the CBSO's Japan tour, and Walton, which the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra will perform at their Tokyo Regular Concert (September).
