(Introductory part, 6 episodes total) The sequel to the series, "Tokyo Regular Edition," has begun! Watch it before the concert to double the fun!

The Japan Philharmonic Orchestra's Tokyo Regular Concerts, held 10 times a year at Suntory Hall, will open their new season in September. Yamada Kazuki, who enjoyed great success this summer at the BBC Proms Festival, one of the world's leading music festivals held in the UK, will perform the opening act. The first installment of the sequel will be themed around the September Tokyo Regular Concert, and will feature two segments: "Walton and Yamada Kazuki" and "Who is Kishi Koichi?"

This work, composed in Japan and the UK in 1935 on the eve of World War II, will be performed by Kazuki Yamada, who regularly performs the opening piece of the season, and will be accompanied by a magnificent orchestral sound.

Film producer Noriko Murakami answers this simple question with music critic Yoshimichi Okuda, who is well acquainted with the classical music world and the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra.■We will answer your questions. We will provide you with information that will double your enjoyment if you know it before the concert, such as the love that went into the work, its background, and notable musicians. We will introduce you to a plan to help you enjoy the regular concerts, which may seem difficult at first glance.
* Yoshimichi Okuda: Studied violin, German literature, and Western music history. Studied abroad in Vienna. Contributes to "Ongaku no Tomo" and other publications, and has appeared on numerous music programs. Fourth commentator on NHK's "Ongaku no Izumi." Currently appears on the late-night radio program "Classical Genetics." His publications include "This is a Masterpiece Violin!" and more. Lecturer at Asahi Culture Centers Shinjuku, Nakanoshima, and Kitakyushu.
