The cover and opening interview feature Japan Philharmonic Orchestra musicians Keiko Manabe and Kaoru Namba. Amid the financial difficulties the orchestra has faced due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the orchestra has been outspoken about its plight and requests for support. We spoke to the two members to convey their current state, having overcome a period of crisis. We will also relay their thoughts on the special feature "The Orchestra Now," to report on the current situation.
