Conductor Laureate and Artistic Advisor Alexander Lazarev visits Japan!
Despite the strict restrictions on foreign visitors to Japan, Conductor Laureate and Artistic Advisor Alexander Lazarev made repeated arrangements and finally arrived in Japan yesterday.
We would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude to the Embassy of Japan in Russia, the Agency for Cultural Affairs, and all other parties involved for their generous support in making Lazarev's visit to Japan possible.
Under government guidance, the concert will be held while observing designated waiting periods and quarantine measures.
Unfortunately, we will not be able to perform at the shows on April 16th and 18th, but the 729th Tokyo Regular Concert will be held as scheduled. We will wait for 14 days before rehearsing.
Please enjoy this performance conducted by Lazarev, which has not been possible for over a year. We look forward to seeing you at Suntory Hall.
