September Tokyo (723rd) Regular Concert and 2020/21 Season Tokyo Regular Membership Tickets on Sale

Taking into account the policies of the national and local governments regarding the prevention of the spread of COVID-9, we have been considering daily how we can start the new season from September.
We sincerely apologize for the changes to the program and performers that have already been announced, as we are currently in an unprecedented situation and the situation is changing by the minute.
However, we will do our best to ensure that everyone can listen to the music of the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra with peace of mind, so we ask for your understanding.

Please note that there is a possibility of sudden changes or cancellations depending on the situation. Please check the website on the day of the performance for the latest information before attending.

Regarding the Tokyo regular concert in September, we will be forced to change the second half of the program in order to prevent infection among performers on stage and in the dressing rooms.
In addition, in accordance with government and local government guidelines, we will use approximately 50% of the hall's capacity (900 seats) and leave one seat empty on each side of the seats. For this reason, regular subscribers will be sent seat tickets that comply with the guidelines before the performance.

Please note that general sales of single tickets and subscription tickets will only be available on Friday performances. We will also announce on our website one week before the performance whether there will be a pre-performance talk.

The performances on September 4th and 5th, 2020 will be held with a changed program. The performance on September 4th will be streamed live for a fee.
