The Japan Philharmonic Orchestra has not been able to perform a single concert together for over two months since their Kyushu performance. For safety reasons, musicians have been forced to stay at home.
In addition to sponsored performances, there have been a number of cancellations of commissioned performances. To date, approximately 30 concerts have been canceled or postponed, and the economic impact is becoming more serious every day.
Above all, not being able to meet everyone at the concert venue is extremely difficult for each and every member of the orchestra. We are truly sorry to everyone who has been looking forward to our performances.
Right now, each and every member of the orchestra is supported by the desire to meet everyone again soon.
Therefore, now that concerts cannot be held, we ask that you become a "supporter of the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra" and support the orchestra.
The Japan Philharmonic Supporters Club is a system that allows anyone with an interest in music to become a supporter of the Japan Philharmonic and support the organization's activities. When you join, you will receive two invitation tickets per membership to a performance hosted by the Japan Philharmonic of your choice.
Right now, you may be feeling hesitant to purchase tickets.
By joining the Supporters Club, you will be purchasing "concert rights" once performances resume, which will be a great way to show your support to the orchestra members.
We will respond to your support with a performance that we put all our heart and soul into.
