How to use the homepage

If you find a performance that interests you, you can register it as a favorite by clicking the ☆ mark. You can see a list of registered performances from the menu or under the performance calendar on the right side on a PC, or from the ☆ at the bottom on a smartphone.
This function uses the browser cache, so please check your cache settings before using it.
If the concert date and time has passed, it will be removed from the list.
The maximum number of concert information that can be registered is 10.

In "About the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra" under "Archives"List of past concerts" You can view information on the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra's regular concerts since its founding and major concerts in recent years.

About purchasing tickets
Can I cancel or change my reservation?
Changes or cancellations cannot be made after your application has been submitted.
My payment deadline at the convenience store has passed. What should I do?
Please contact the service center. If the seat is reserved, we will accept payment by postal transfer.
Can I use credit cards at the venue?
Credit cards can be used when purchasing same-day and advance tickets.
Only cash is accepted at the "Telephone Reservation" counter.
How good is the sound?
If you are near the stage you can feel the breath of the performers, while if you are in the second or third floor seats you can enjoy the overall sound.
What is the minimum age to enter?
Children who have started elementary school can enter the main performances.
For performances that are open to preschoolers, such as "Summer Vacation Concerts," please search for "Preschoolers OK" under "Other Conditions" in the concert information.
About Ys and Gs seats
- Ys seats: Seats for people under 25 years old. You can choose from any seat except S seats.
- Gs seats: These seats are for people aged 70 and over. You can choose from any seat except S seats.
- Ks seats: These seats are exclusive to Kobaken World and are for people under 25 years old. You can choose from all seat types, including S seats.
*Ys, Gs, and Ks seats are limited to certain performances and seats.
Q1. Is proof of age required for Ys and Gs seats each time I apply?
A. If you submit it at the time of your first application, it is not necessary from the second time onwards.
Q2. I would like to purchase a Ys seat, but can I still do so even if I am 26 years old by the time of the concert?
A. If you are 25 years old at the time of purchase, you can use the Ys rate. (You can also be 26 years old at the time of the concert.)
Q3. Can I purchase Gs seats even if I am not yet 70 years old at the time of application, as long as I will be 70 years old by the time of the concert?
A. If you are 69 years old at the time of purchase, you cannot purchase a Gs seat even if you are 70 years old at the time of the concert.
Q4. Do I need proof of age for everyone in the Gs and Ys seats?
A. Proof of age is required for all users.
Q5. I purchased a Ys seat (Gs seat, child's ticket, etc.) at a discounted price, but the eligible person can no longer attend. Can I pay the difference and enter?
A. You can enter by paying the difference.

Will tickets be available on the day?
The availability of same-day tickets will be decided one business day before the performance (e.g. Friday if the performance is on a Sunday). This will be announced on the Japan Philharmonic's official website, X, LINE, etc.
Is there a waiting list for cancellations?
We do not offer waiting lists for cancellations.
I lost my ticket, what should I do?
The procedure varies depending on how you purchased your tickets. Please contact us by phone.
My companion will be late. Can we leave our tickets at the reception?
For performances hosted by the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, we will accept your luggage at the "Telephone Reservation" counter, so please let us know.
About subscription tickets
What is a subscription membership?
A subscription ticket is a system that allows you to purchase tickets for a year or six months' worth of regular concerts at a discount. It's like an orchestra subscription.
The Japan Philharmonic Orchestra holds regular concerts every month (except February and August) in two locations: Tokyo and Yokohama.

With the subscription ticket, can I choose the day of the week and Tokyo or Yokohama each month?
You can transfer your ticket to the Tokyo or Yokohama subscription concerts in the same month. Please refer to the Subscription Ticket page for details on how to transfer your ticket.
When can I apply for a rescheduled subscription concert? Also, what is the application deadline?
Please contact us as soon as your plans are confirmed. Replacement tickets will be sent approximately 10 days before the performance date. Application deadline: Please contact us as close as possible to the performance date (Friday for Sunday performances).
Is there a limit on the number of times I can transfer my ticket?
There is no limit to the number of times you can transfer, but please note that we cannot accept any changes after you have requested a transfer.
Membership system
What kind of membership systems are there?
The Japan Philharmonic hasRegular membership, Supporters Club, Japan Philharmonic Association, Patronage, Special membership (corporate donations)There is a system in place.

I occasionally receive direct mail, does that mean I'm a member?
Direct mail is sent to people with a purchase history.
If you are not a member, you will not be able to use the benefits.
