Celebrate the New Year with Kah-Chun Wong at the New Year's Concert!
Khachaturian's "Masquerade" suite unfolds with the composer's signature powerful melodies and rhythms. Following this, Haydn's Trumpet Concerto features the highly acclaimed soloist Hayato Kodama, whose crystal-clear tone adds a brilliant brilliance to this classic masterpiece. The program concludes with Johann Strauss II's "Die Fledermaus" overture and the classic Viennese waltz "The Blue Danube," adding a touch of glamour to the festivities. The program concludes with a fantastical world created by the second suite from Ravel's ballet music "Daphnis et Chloe."
