In December, pay attention to the epic Reger Piano Concerto. If you think Reger sounds difficult, this is the piece for you! At first listen, this piece may seem profound and difficult to understand, but thanks to Nodoka Okisawa's brilliant conducting and Tomoki Sakata's brilliant technique, it becomes much more accessible. Listen closely to the intricate interplay between piano and orchestra, and a new door to classical music will open for you.
The second half of the concert will feature Brahms' Symphony No. 2. The time will be filled with calm, nature-filled music, gently accompanying the end of the year.
