Kah Chung Wong and Huff Stark star in the long-awaited "Hibiki"
The long-awaited reunion of Kahchun Wong, Sir Stephen Hough, and the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, whose collaboration in May 2025 is still fresh in our memories, has finally come to fruition!
The first half features Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 5, "Emperor," a work that combines brilliance and grandeur. Hough's intellectual and poetic sensibility, along with his unwavering technique, breathes new life into the piece, creating a tense dialogue with the orchestra.
The second half features Saint-Saëns' Symphony No. 3 "Organ Symphony," a masterpiece that can be considered the epitome of French music. The magnificent orchestration, combined with the majestic organ, further highlights the splendor of the work. The Japan Philharmonic's rich ensemble and grand sound will lead you to an overwhelming climax.
