Highlights
The start of the 70th anniversary season. A hymn to humanity
Kah Chun Wong and the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra have previously delivered renowned performances of Mahler's symphonies. This time, as a special feature, they will be performing Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 "Choral" arrangement, arranged by Mahler. Mahler's orchestration has enhanced the sound, adding a fuller, richer tone. Amidst the magnificent sound unique to a modern orchestra, this performance embodies a hymn to humanity and hope for the future. Led by Principal Conductor Kah Chun Wong, this magnificent musical experience transcends time and culture, interweaving the past and present. Also, be sure to pay attention to the powerful yet transparent sound of the Shinyukai Chorus, a group of Japan's most talented soloists, who will be showcasing the opening of the 70th anniversary of the orchestra.
