Highlights
A New Year's program with a Viennese flair
The star of this episode will be Wilfried Kazuki Hedenborg, a violinist with the Vienna Philharmonic who also made a studio appearance in the annual New Year's Day "Vienna Philharmonic New Year's Concert" broadcast on NHK. This program pays tribute to Willi Boskovsky, who once led the New Year's Concert and performed with the Japan Philharmonic. Hedenborg personally researched the program for the first New Year's Concert conducted by Boskovsky in 1955 and decided on the second half of the program. We hope you enjoy this performance, packed with the essence and attention to detail of Vienna!
