UBE Classic Concert

The "UBE Classic Concert," which began in 2008 as a community contribution activity by UBE Corporation, is a joint venture between UBE Corporation, Ube City, Ube City Board of Education, and the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra.

The concert, which will be held in Ube City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, will center around an orchestra concert at the Watanabe Memorial Hall in Ube City, and will also include visiting concerts at hospitals, clinics and joint concerts for junior high school students, open rehearsals for elementary school students, and even a live broadcast of the performance by a local FM station in the city. This truly embodies the Japan Philharmonic's "three pillars of activities" - orchestral, educational, and community activities - and will mark its 15th anniversary in 2022.

We will continue to promote this project as a model case for joint participation projects between companies, local governments, and music organizations, as well as a project to promote next-generation music culture with a focus on "children's education."
