I was attracted to the look of it, so the double bass was my first choice.
What is important in a performance Listen carefully to the sounds around you and keep a wide field of vision.
One of my favorite songs Wagner: Prelude to Act 1 from the opera "Lohengrin"

Lohengrin is an opera based on the legend of the Swan Knight, composed by Wagner. The entire opera is a lengthy work, clocking in at approximately three and a half hours, but the very first piece performed is the prelude to Act 1. This piece depicts a group of angels carrying the Holy Grail from the heavenly realm to the human mortal realm, then ascending back to the heavenly realm. The quiet "heavenly world" created by the eight-part violin and woodwind sections at the beginning is of unparalleled beauty, while the brass section, representing the brilliance of the Holy Grail, creates a divine and majestic climax. At around nine minutes long, it's an easy listen, yet incredibly romantic and moving piece, so be sure to give it a listen! I've never actually performed this piece before, so I'm looking forward to doing so someday!
