Hitoshi Suzuki
SUZUKI Hitoshi
He began playing the bassoon at the age of 13.
Graduated from Tokyo College of Music High School and the university.
After graduating, he studied abroad in Vienna.
He studied bassoon under Mita Heihachiro, Kiryu Yoshihide, Sugawara Hitomi, Yamagami Takashi, Magome Isamu, and Karl Elberger.
After working with the Hiroshima Symphony Orchestra, he joined the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra in 1989.
Selected for the 6th Japan Wind and Percussion Instrument Competition.
He has held recitals at JDR (Japan Double Reed), Tokyo Opera City Recital Hall, Ginza Yamaha Salon, and Space DO.
