Masato Satake
SATAKE Masato
After graduating from the Tokyo University of the Arts Faculty of Music High School, he graduated from the Tokyo University of the Arts Department of Instrumental Music and completed a Master's degree at the university's graduate school. He placed second in the oboe division of the 85th Music Competition of Japan, and won third place and the Yagisawa Kyoji Special Award at the 1st Oboe Ensemble Fil*coule Composition Competition. He has studied under Obata Yoshiaki and Aoyama Seiju. He is a member of the wind and percussion chamber ensemble Ensemble Levent and the woodwind trio Trio Cravates. He is a contract instructor at Buffet Crampon Japan and a part-time instructor at Tokyo University of the Arts.

My father played the oboe, and he gave me a hand-me-down instrument, so I wanted to try playing it. |
