| One of my favorite songs | Prokofiev: Romeo and Juliet Suite Born in Ukraine, Prokofiev composed a ballet suite and an orchestral suite based on Shakespeare's famous tragedy, Romeo and Juliet. The suites are not in the order of the story, prioritizing concert program structure, but Prokofiev's unique and vivid melodies and easily understandable depictions of scenes shine through, making them highly appealing as concert works. |
