Toshiyuki Onishi
ONISHI Toshiyuki
Born in Ueda City, Nagano Prefecture. Graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts and the graduate school of the Karlsruhe University of Music. After serving as a trainee with the Mainz State Opera Philharmonic Orchestra and the Hyogo Performing Arts Center Orchestra, he joined the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra in April 2022. In addition to playing contemporary instruments, he also performs as a performer of early music, appearing in numerous performances with major early music ensembles such as Bach Collegium Japan. He is also a member of Brass Ensemble ZERO Tokyo.
