Ikuko Nakaya

He started playing the violin at the age of 4. He was selected for the All Japan Student Music Competition and graduated from the Tokyo University of the Arts High School of Music.
He entered Tokyo University of the Arts and later entered the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris (CNSMDP), graduating with first prize.
He has studied under Morita Reiko, Tanaka Chikashi, Pierre Decamps, and Olivier Charlier.
In 2002, he joined the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra.
