MACHIDA Tadashi

Second Violin

He began playing the violin at the age of three. After graduating from Tokyo University of the Arts, he joined the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra. While active as an orchestra player, he also works as a studio musician, recording and arranging music for many artists and soundtracks for plays. In recent years, he has been expanding his activities, focusing on classical music and exploring connections with various music scenes, from pop to club culture, including solo activities using electronics.
She has studied under Numata Sonoko, Gérard Poulet, and Urushibara Asako.

What made you start playing an instrument? It all started when my parents sent me to a local music school as part of my extracurricular activities.
What is important in a performance - Achieving both emotional expression and controlling oneself from a bird's-eye view.
- In order to correctly grasp and output the context of the song you are currently playing, first make sure to accurately adhere to the dynamics, note values, and instructions written in the sheet music.
・Don't confuse "unconventional" with "unconventional."

I especially pay attention to these three things.

One of my favorite songs Honegger: Symphony No. 2
