What made you start playing an instrument? At my mother's suggestion
What is important in a performance I cherish the way I feel like playing and the sound I want to deliver.
One of my favorite songs Mendelssohn: Symphony No. 4 "Italian"

I've loved this song ever since I first played it in college.
Mendelssohn began writing this piece while traveling in Italy and completed it in 1833. Mendelssohn was born in 1809, so he would have been around 24 years old at the time. It is a youthful, powerful piece.
The first movement is youthful and happy, the second movement is simple yet pulsating with life, the third movement is flowing and beautiful, and the fourth movement is extremely energetic. This piece is thrilling and enjoyable to play and listen to. The fourth movement incorporates the Italian dance Saltarello, making it feel like you're dancing wildly. Listening to this piece is sure to lift your spirits even when you're feeling down!
